It's been way too long since I posted a DIY project.
A few months ago, I finally tackled a DIY project I'd been planning for months. Sometime earlier this year, I saw these letters at Urban Outfitters, and knew I had to make a version of my own.
If you have a handful of the needed items at home, these letters can be very affordable to make. Even better, the entire project was complete in about 45 minutes. My favorite type of DIY project.
Also, the letters stand for Courtney and Camp. That little fur baby has me wrapped around his paws.

Materials
Wooden letters (unstained)
Wood stain
Paint marker (I used a chalkboard marker so the ink would dry faster)
Rag
Disposable gloves
Newspaper or paint sheet
Directions
1.) Set up a stain station by laying newspaper or a paint sheet. Next, dip the rag in the stain and lightly stain each letter.
2.) Allow the letters to dry. Because the wooden letters are unstained, this shouldn't take long (less than 30 minutes).
3.) Once the letters are dry, use the paint marker to add a design to each letter. Allow for the paint to dry.
4.) Hang or display the letters and voila!
